Fachtagung „DBSV Hilfsmittelberater“
MindTags is invited to present the system and functionalities of our app on Friday the 10th of March, 2017 on the convention "DBSV Hilfsberater". The event takes place at the Aura-Hotel Timmendorfer Strand, which we have equipped with our system for blind and visually impaired persons.
We are happy for the opportunity to present our system to a wide audience.
From A to Z on the campus at the Deutsche Blindenstudienanstalt – BLISTA (German Study Institute for the Blind) in Marburg
To coincide with the Louis Braille Festival 2016 in June, we were invited by BLISTA to present the campus orientation via smartphone. We rise to this challenge in consideration of inclusive endeavours.
In the future, not only blind people will find their way into the cafeteria but also other user groups. To do this, we use Beacons, i.e. Bluetooth low-energy technology.
Pergamon Museum – permanent exhibition 'Episteme in Motion'
Im Auftrag des Transferprojektes On behalf of the transfer project SFB 980 "Episteme in Motion. Transfer of Knowledge from the Old World to the Early Modern Period", we have developed a digital mediation platform. The platform makes it possible to access the mediation products both on the spot through QR and NFC codes, as well as online.
The permanent exhibition was opened on 28 April, 2016. Online version of the exhibition: http://www.objects-in-transfer.sfb-episteme.de/

Europe’s first talking university
The College of Popular Arts (HDPK) in Berlin speaks. From now on, visitors and students of the university will be able to transfer information about locations in the building of the HDPK to the smartphone and access it barrier-free. We also provide guided tours to important facilities in the building. We have implemented QR codes, NFC tags as well as web beacons. People with and without restrictions can safely find their way to the cafeteria, to the administration office and to the toilets etc.
